背景 六本木の国際文化会館の50周年記念イベントのための作品です。会場の敷地の広さや、美しい日本庭園を見させて頂いた時、人工的な物ではなく、何か場になじむような物を作りたいと考えました。秋空がとても美しい季節だったので、空の青さを強調できる物を作りたいと思ったことがきっかけです。 機能 広い庭に設置された60cm幅くらいの大きな箱から、ポンといって5分置きに自動で約１m程の煙の輪を打ち上げる機械です。風がなければ50m くらいは上昇可能。 煙は上がるたびに、風の強さなどによって真ん丸だったり、長細かったりと毎回形が違います。風のない場合は円を描いたまま、ゆっくりと空高く上っていき、やがて姿を消します。 制作 子供の頃に父親がタバコで輪を作ってみせてくれていて、その頃から煙で何かできたらいいなという感覚がありました。このプロジェクトの時、思いついてから自宅の外に小さな箱を置いて実験したらうまくいったため、徐々にサイズを大きくして行きました。全て手作りで、箱の中にモーターなどが色々入っています。時間が来るとそれが中で落ち、そのため内圧がかかり、穴の中にエネルギーが集約され、渦が出来て煙の輪ができるという仕組みです。 販売 この作品の購入をご希望の方は、ti@takeshiishiguro.comまでお問い合わせ下さい。 Stuff wash heft the really picky Great for, shelf canadian… Read more.
